If you crave a sweet breakfast this one’s for you!

For this recipe you can  use either cocoa or cacao I used to think it was the same thing and it is a little confusing but the main difference is that cocoa is sweeter and cheaper; product of recommendation (Hershey’s cocoa powder). Cacao on the other hand has a stronger taste and provides more antioxidants since it is the purest form of chocolate if you don’t like raw cacao you should definitely try cocoa.

I used cocoa for this recipe but it is optional.


  • 1/2 Cup Oats
  • 1 Cup Almond milk or Milk of choice
  • 1 Tsp Cocoa
  • Walnuts
  • 1Tbsp Honey
  • Toppings: Walnuts, Coconut, Strawberries, banana

1.) Combine Oats, Milk and walnuts in a small pot and bring to boil.

2.) When mixture is boiling add Cocoa and honey stir until well combined.

3.) Remove oatmeal and transfer to bowl

4.) Add Walnuts, Coconut, Strawberries, Banana
